電子競技社與遊戲研究社介紹

實踐大學電子競技與遊戲研究社是一個由熱愛電子競技和玩電玩遊戲的成員組成的社團，成員來自實踐大學不同科系和年級。我們提供一個共享和交流的環境，讓喜歡電競和電玩遊戲的人們聚在一起。

此外，我們定期舉辦比賽和交流活動，讓大家有機會參加比賽或一同遊玩。這也是一個展現自己才能和在大學生活中留下回憶的地方。我們的社團有一個社窩，位於實踐街B20號的L棟B1樓，用於社員和幹部的休息，同時也是行政工作的地方，社員們也在這裡互相交流。

除了在學校定期的社課時間外，我們每個月至少在新北電競基地舉辦一次活動，通常在禮拜天下午2點開始。每次的活動主題都不同，我們在那裡舉辦電競比賽和遊戲交流的社課。

在電競社，我們的目標不僅僅是讓大家享受遊戲和比賽的樂趣，也希望讓大家了解整個活動流程。最重要的是，我們希望能夠促進彼此之間的情感連結，而不僅僅局限於遊戲和比賽。

我們追求不斷提升自己的實力，學習良好的品格，以及處理即將面臨的挑戰和臨時情況的能力。我們的核心信念是「If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again」和「Never underestimate your power to change yourself!」我們希望每個人都能在這裡享受遊戲和比賽，同時也能擁有這樣的信念。

The Practice University Esports and Gaming Research Society is a group composed of individuals who are passionate about esports and playing video games. Our members come from various departments and year levels at Practice University. We provide an environment for those who enjoy esports and gaming to come together, share experiences, and play games.

Additionally, our club regularly organizes competitions and social gatherings, offering everyone the opportunity to compete or play together while creating lasting memories during their university years. Our club also has a clubhouse located in Building L, B1, at Practice Street (B20), which serves as a place for members and officers to relax, conduct administrative tasks, and engage in discussions.

Apart from our regular club activities during school hours, we host events at the New Taipei Esports Base at least once a month, typically starting at 2 PM on Sunday afternoons. The themes for these events vary, and we conduct esports competitions and gaming-related activities during our club meetings.

We organize the following events every semester:

Semester-opening and closing assemblies

Christmas parties

Esports tournaments

Gaming exchange sessions

Behind-the-scenes and front-of-house workshops

In the Esports Club, our goal is not only to provide enjoyment through gaming and competition but also to help members understand the entire event process. Most importantly, we aim to strengthen the emotional bonds among our members, extending beyond the realm of gaming and competitions.

We encourage personal growth in terms of skill improvement, fostering good character, and developing the ability to handle challenges and unexpected situations. Our core beliefs are "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again" and "Never underestimate your power to change yourself!" We hope that everyone can come here to enjoy gaming and competition while embracing these principles.
