Mountain and Plain Indigenous Children’s Counseling Club

The Mountain and Plain Indigenous Children’s Counseling Club is dedicated to supporting indigenous and rural children, providing companionship and guidance to help them grow with confidence and compassion. Our club aims to expand children’s horizons, foster teamwork, and strengthen communication skills through engaging activities and a spirit of service. Our motto is: “Love is not a momentary impulse; it’s an enduring commitment.”

Club Structure

Our leadership includes six core positions: President, Vice President, Public Relations Officer, Activities Coordinator, Treasurer, and Visual Design Coordinator. These roles work collaboratively to ensure all events run smoothly and to provide members with meaningful learning opportunities.

Annual Events

 1. Weekend Camps: Held mainly for elementary schools in the Greater Taipei area, these camps provide children with interactive games and activities to enjoy during weekends.
 2. Winter and Summer Outreach Camps: Focusing on rural areas beyond northern Taiwan, these camps bring fun and meaningful experiences to children during their winter and summer breaks.

Our events are low-cost, with fees covering only basic meal expenses to keep them affordable for families. Each event costs no more than NT$200 to ensure all children can join without financial burden.

Program Design and Values

Our programs incorporate themes such as “Courage,” “Uniqueness,” “Anti-Bullying,” and “Friendship.” Through thoughtfully designed courses, games, and role-playing, children can explore new ideas, gain confidence, and develop communication skills in a fun and inclusive environment.

Club Lessons and Member Development

We also hold regular club lessons where members can build leadership skills, learn teamwork, and bond with fellow members while gaining insights into guiding children. Each lesson helps members develop skills for activity planning, soft skills, and participation hours as part of our club’s community.

We welcome all new members and supporters to join us in bringing joy and meaningful experiences to children in rural areas, helping us create a lasting impact through our shared commitment.
