基服社
「基層文化服務隊」是一個隨著時代脈動、面對環境變遷而不段改變風格與方式來關注社會的團體，在全國各地舉辦青少年育樂營，教導國家未來主人翁如何關心自己、關愛社會，藉以導正社會風氣，同時讓參與服務的大專學生雁服務中學習，在學習中成長，培養樂觀進取、積極奉獻的人生觀。
實踐大學基層文化服務對象來皆以臨時編制及訓練為特色，缺乏一個延續的傳統，有鑑於此，在學長、學姊各方奔走努力下，終於得以在民國七十八年正式成立社團，但仍以『基層文化服務隊』為社名，民國八十一年更名為「基層文化服務社」迄今，期許將基服隊服務之精神更加發揚光大，並參與全方位的社會服務工作，更希望能凝聚每一位基服夥伴的心。
實踐基服共有兩隊寒暑假定點服務隊，而95級基服合併為一隊寒暑假定點服務隊，每年寒暑假至各地國中小學服務，頗受地方好評。
出隊方式主要是給予當地兒童與青少年專業知識及生活常識，並以寓教娛樂的方式與當地群眾合而為一。
近年來由於社會轉型，弱勢族群的服務更是愈加重要，實踐基服並於民國88年3月組成「平時服務隊」，更於2005更改編制組成「平時服務組」於學期中空餘時間，協助老人安養，兒童福利及弱勢族群的照顧，讓實踐基服的服務型態更加多元化。
『實踐大學基層文化服務社』以「基於我心，服我所愛」為社訓期望社員皆能秉持「愛人愛己」之精神，來完成基層服務的工作。
Basic Culture Service Team is a group gathering college student who likes to serve people.
With the changing world, it has never changed its main goal. “Never fails to give people a helping hand when they need” is the end goal of G.F. Therefore, school of sisters and brothers organized the “Young Club” everywhere to teach a new generation of people how to take care of themselves and how to concern with surroundings.
Besides, it can not only build up the standard of life, but also supply opportunities for college students. They believed that learning from serving could develop their optimistic and positive view of life.
According to the group lacked well-organized training programs and sufficient background, they did their best to establish a formal club named as “Basic Culture Service Team” in 1989. After three years, it changed the name as “Basic Culture Service Society.”
They hoped that they could enhance the service spirits of the club and take part in all service. It is said that birds of a feather flock together. For this reason, it can gather zeal from each member.
There is one team in G.F. OF Shin Chien University. Every summer and winter vacation, they would serve the junior high school or elementary school students. At that time, they were popular with people. Their main ideal was to combine the professional knowledge and common senses with their lives. Recently, due to the changing type of the society, it becomes important to concern with the minority group. Because of minority group, G.F. of Shin Chien University founds service team on March 1999. In 2005, we changed the name of the service team into “the service organization”. People of this team are ready to help them whenever necessary. They offer some assistance to the elder. It’s obviously that service is the be-all and end-all of life to G.F. As time goes by, G.F. will strengthen. Basic Culture Service Society of Shin Chien University based on service. It is most valuable in our lives. People who had established G.F. hoped that everyone could complete the service assignment as possible. It is expected that we’ll become more and more multiplex in the future.
