綠野登山社
綠野登山社以戶外活動為主，讓你能夠體驗完全野外生活的樂趣。不論郊山踏青、中級山探勘、高山攀登縱走、攀岩、溯溪、雪地訓練，我們以安全的前提下，提供給你不一樣的刺激體驗。每年舉辦初、中級嚮導訓練營，以訓練專業高山嚮導人才：岩訓、雪訓、溯溪訓練，在技術性訓練活動中，感受與大自然的第一次親密接觸！
台灣自然景觀資源豐富，我們在爬山的過程中，將各種台灣地理、植物、昆蟲、動物等介紹給大家，讓大家一起去熟悉這塊土地。也把你以前所學的各種野外知識一一實際操作，如指北針使用、地形圖判讀、各種繩結、生活技巧等。除了戶外活動，我們也安排了室內課程，由學長姐或專業講師講授基本山野常識、台灣地理環境認識、自然生態觀察、山岳常識等。
有機會到台灣較未開發的地方走走，你一定會被當前的美景所感動！箭竹草坡、高山湖泊、日出日落、夜晚滿天星斗、電視節目【台灣探險隊】、【台灣全紀錄】所去的地方，「中央山脈的藍寶石－嘉明湖」、「王者之尊－南湖大山」，甚至學校附近的陽明山國家公園，都有讓你意想不到的驚喜喔！我們是一群喜愛戶外活動的伙伴。台灣之美，等待你來發掘！歡迎加入我們，背著滿滿的風、滿滿的雨、滿滿的陽光、滿滿的希望，也為自己創造自己的故事。
綠野起源 實踐原為一女子專科學校，為了使同學能夠更親近大自然培養女性獨立自主之能力，發揮女性團隊互助以及服務創造之精神，於是由數位愛好山野之同學，在李香楨學姐的領導下，成立了本校第一個以野外活動為主的康樂性社團，並以綠野社為名，向校方申請核准於民國66年7月5日成立。
山野活動深具冒險性與挑戰性，所以綠野社在成立之初確實遭受無數阻力與挫折，但是學姐們始終堅持著理念，努力灌溉這塊綠野園地。本社於當時不論在學術性室內講座或是戶外性，各個活動均辦得有聲有色，並且於民國68年和民國72年經救國團評鑑為全國績優社團，是本校第一個獲此殊榮的社團。
綠野沿革 社團發展至第10屆漸行完備，領嚮導群於第14屆前就已經成立，並且舉辦第一次初級嚮導營、中級嚮導營。第17屆學校改制為學院，綠野社進入新的時代。第20屆時老麥攀登聖母峰歸來，充分開發滿月圓為中級嚮導營之訓練基地。第22屆室內課正式命名為「綠野教室」、「綠野網站」設立，第23屆、第24屆綠野社申請改名改制為「綠野登山社」。第33屆登山社網誌成立「uscilovemoun」。 第34屆實踐大學綠野登山社 FaceBook 社團專頁成立

Introduction for Green Field Mountaineering Club of Shih Chien University
Introduction
The mission of Green Field Mountaineering Club (GFMC) is holding outdoor activities and leading people to get pleasure in the wild life. If you want to try different exciting activities, such as hiking in country sides around Taipei City, explore middle high mountains laying on idle region of Taiwan, and discover the mystery of Taiwan streams, you just knock the window of the beautiful scenery where we can lead you to get marvelous experiences and open your eye-sight from those you never saw. Besides, about our mountain guide team, we nurture professional mountain guides in our styles and by our ways. In every time for training, the senior members will teach practical guides knowledge about wildness as possible as they can. Therefore, practical guides learn how to respect the environment of us and wild life, and will find out relationship between human being and this planet with the charming high mountains and the blue oceans. Our successors are given wish and tradition of GFMC and they would to be educators for new enrollments and environmental protectors.
Beauty of Taiwan
Taiwan is abundant for the nature resources which are gathered in the island existing along with Pacific Ocean. Through hiking, we let people to receive knowledge about geographic formation and structure of Taiwan, botany and creatures. Furthermore, people who join our activities with us could familiar with this flourishing territory. By attending the outdoor life, you can exercise and practice every skills from the courses of survive, such as using compass, and from reading map in wild when we trace in wildness. When you are shuttling in the wildness, the beautiful scenery will shake your heart. Like Great Canyon of United States, the Taroko National park, the place with deep chasm with blue rivers and cliff with waterfalls, the place also can give you something marvelous. Because of these accept reasons Discovery Channel, one of the global famous producers of TV programs, made series of shows to introduce Taiwan’s beauties for global audiences.

Year of GFMC Events
Year 1 : The club was found by Miss Lee Sung-Jane in Summer, 1975, and named “Green Field Outdoor and Camping Club”.
Year 13 Awarded One of Best Clubs of Universities and Colleges from Education Ministry.
Year 14 System of Mountaineering Guide merged and rebuilt it. 1987~1989 Mr. Mac Jade-Ming, the president of Class 14, was Climbing on Mt. Everest, 1995.
Year 17 The School was reformed from college to university and has been named “Shih Chien University”, 1997.
Year 24 The Club was reformed and named “Green Field Mountaineering Club”, 1999.
